Accountabilities

• Plan, update and supervise activities in order to ensure the safe and professional delivery of service for customers in line with the defined SLAs and quality standards
• Drive employee engagement and a high performance culture by being a role model that gives emphasis to empowerment, communication, quality, productivity & goal attainment.
• Ensuring that all SOPs are adhered to at all times both by yourself and your team members allowing for a safe and secure operation.
• Encourage consistency and collaboration by ensuring clear communication at all levels. This will include delivering team briefings, and completion of relevant reports.
• Ensure that all documentation pertaining to the tasks performed are accurately completed.
• Lead and coordinate cargo handling operations, ensuring compliance with safety, security and company policies
• Ensure they operate safely in compliance with applicable procedures and instructions. Report safety, security and service occurrences, errors, hazards and near misses utilizing the established reporting procedures
• Manage daily activities related to cargo loading, unloading and storage; while implementing best practices.
• Monitor cargo performance metrics; driving operational excellence.
• Able to work and perform on 24-hour shift pattern in all areas of cargo operations, adhering to all applicable protocols.

Education & Experience

•   Secondary / High school level education 

•   Minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant area

•   Valid UAE Driving Licence (Airside Roles only)
